Respected citizens of Dongjak-gu, hello!

I am Jung Jae-cheon, Chairperson of the Dongjak-gu Council.

As the Local Autonomy Act has been revised and citizens' interest and expectations for the role of local councils have grown, we are not just a council that reacts but proactively communicates with citizens in the field and works together to address and resolve local issues throughout Dongjak-gu.

Drawing on my experience as a three-term council member and chairperson, I will promote constructive cooperation and checks and balances with the executive branch for the development of Dongjak-gu. I will also actively support and cooperate with council members' activities aimed at the welfare and happiness of our citizens.

All 16 members of the 9th Dongjak-gu Council, including myself, will carry out vigorous council activities with a sense of heavy responsibility as we represent the citizens of Dongjak-gu.
